Nomen-Verb-Verbindungen
Es gibt im Deutschen feste Nomen-Verb-Verbindungen, also Kombinationen, die immer zusammen aufreten. Sie werden oft in der schriftlichen Sprache verwendet, wie in Zeitungen und Broschüren, Geschäftskorrrespondenzen und wissenschaftlichen Publikationen. Man findet sie aber auch vereinzelt in der Alltagssprache.

There is a special group among the connectors, namely those that begin with “so”. These are adverbs that are preceded by “so”. They correspond in many cases to the English connectors formed with “as … as”:

However, there are some that start with “so” that are not formed with “as … as” in English:
