Are Konnektoren (connectors) and Konjunktionen (conjunctions) the same? – Yes and no.

A conjunction connects different sentences. This can be two main clauses (and / or / …) or two subordinate clauses (that / which / …).A connector connects “something”.

Thus, every conjunction is a connector, but not every connector is a conjunction.
