Here now a few examples of Konnektoren (connectors) that are not Konjunktionen (conjunctions).

– Wir können den Bus nehmen oder auch nicht. (We can take the bus or not.)

– Ich rufe dich an sobald es geht. (I’ll call you as soon as I can.)

– Ich nehme meinen Koffer und deinen auch. (I’ll take my suitcase and yours too.)

– Er schläft anstatt zu arbeiten. (He sleeps instead of working.)

– Susanne ruft ihre Eltern an sooft sie kann. (Susanne calls her parents as often as she can. )

These are no Konjuktionen (conjunctions) but still Konrektoren (connectors).
